1. Who we are

Onborda is a workflow orchestration platform for human capital management. This policy describes how we treat personal information we collect from visitors to www.onborda.com and prospects who contact us. It does not cover personal information processed inside the Onborda product on behalf of our customers (our customers are the data controllers there; we are the processor).

2. What we collect

• Information you give us: when you submit our contact form, we receive your name, work email, company, role, inquiry type, headcount band, and message.
• Information collected automatically: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) and analytics about which pages were visited.
• Cookies: a single first-party cookie storing your cookie-consent preference. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Why we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up by email or phone.
• To improve the website (aggregate analytics).
• To meet our legal obligations (e.g. retaining sales records).

4. Lawful basis (POPIA / GDPR)

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, we rely on (a) your consent — which you gave by submitting the form, and (b) our legitimate interest in operating and growing the business. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@onborda.com.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of vetted processors to run our business — notably an email-relay service that delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox, and our analytics provider. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law.

6. How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond and follow up on the inquiry, and thereafter for legitimate business purposes (typically up to 36 months). Server logs are rotated within 90 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to our processing. Email info@onborda.com with your request.

8. International transfers

Our processors operate in multiple jurisdictions. Where personal information leaves your jurisdiction, we rely on contractual safeguards equivalent to standard data-protection clauses.
